Your Destination: A warm welcome to the state-recognised air spa Bad Griesbach! Your holiday destination is located in the Lower Bavarian spa triangle, approximately 40 km southwest of the Three Rivers City of Passau. The Rottal hilly landscape, truly deserving the name "Bavarian Tuscany", enchants with its picturesque nature. For active holidaymakers, there are opportunities for cycling and hiking, among others. A special feature is the selection of 17 Nordic walking routes on 150 kilometres of designated paths – a scale that is unique in Germany. Clean air and a mild climate are your constant companions. In the immediate vicinity, there are also six 18-hole golf courses, three 9-hole golf courses, a children's golf course, and the largest golf academy in the world. Thus, Bad Griesbach is located in the heart of the largest golf resort in Europe. On an excursion to the surrounding area, you can also explore the other spa towns of the spa triangle, such as Bad Birnbach (approx. 13 km) or Bad Füssing (approx. 18 km), at the border with Austria. The proximity to Austria also opens up a variety of excursion destinations and sights, such as the Baroque city of Schärding (approx. 24 km).

Poseidon Therme – Immerse and Feel Good: Combine the healthy and healing power of the Poseidon-Therme with relaxing and beneficial wellness treatments as well as, among others, water aerobics (Mon-Fri, except on public holidays, daily at 11 am) in a 1,600 m² large bathing area. The Bad Griesbach springs utilise the over 10,000-year-old natural resources of our nature with thermal mineral water from the depths of the primordial rock, heated up to 60°C. The thermal spa offers, among others, a thermal indoor pool, a heated freshwater outdoor pool, steam grotto, infrared cabin, Kneipp basin, hot whirlpool, and sunbathing lawn.

Your Spa and Guest Card*: With the spa and guest card included in your travel price, you can use the city buses for free, participate free of charge in guided hikes, Nordic walking and e-bike tours, as well as lectures and spa concerts. Additionally, free use of the 250 km long hiking and Nordic walking paths, the agricultural path, the Via Nova, the Forest Wonder World, and the cycling paths, use of the sports and leisure facilities (fitness course, Finnish path, barefoot path, water treading basin, outdoor chess, bocce court) of the community. You will also receive numerous discounts on site, such as at the entrance to the Wohlfühl-Therme Bad Griesbach, the bird and animal park Irgenöd, the wildlife park Ortenburg, the open-air museums Massing & Finsterau, and much more.

Your holiday hotel: Centrally located yet peaceful, the mid-range hotel Glockenspiel welcomes you with its own Poseidon Therme. Your hotel is in close proximity to the pedestrian zone and the spa park of Bad Griesbach. Indulge in culinary delights at the restaurant with a winter garden. The reception can be found at the adjacent Hotel Birkenhof. The in-house Poseidon Therme, covering 1,600 m² (access from 14 years), is accessible via a bathrobe corridor from the hotel. Rooms: The comfortably furnished double rooms Galerie (approx. 32 m², min. 2/max. 2 full-paying guests + 1 child) offer a bath or shower, hairdryer, minibar, safe, and balcony or terrace. Some rooms are designed in a maisonette style and feature two levels connected by a staircase. The single rooms Comfort (approx. 22 m², 1 full-paying guest) are smaller but have the same amenities.
